Ella Mae Pendell

Dateline: Chester Ella Mae Pendell, 86, passed away Friday December 25, 2015 at Agape in Rock Hill. A native of Johnson City, NY, she was born April 1, 1929 daughter of the late Peter C. Paccio and Hazel G Crocker Parenteau. Mrs. Pendell was a former retail department manager for Walmart, a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard “Sarge” Pendell, a brother Donald Paccio and a sister Deisree Pareteau. Surviving are her children Richard G. Pendell (Cathy) of Bessemer City, NC, Sue O Tarleton (Randy) of Monroe NC, Ronnie L. Pendell (Faye) of Boston, VA, Terry P. Green(Mark) of Chester; Grandchildren: Kelly O. Griffin (Jim) of Buford, SC, Adam C. O’Neill & partner Travis Ennis of Raleigh, Jeremy W. Helms (Catherine) of Charlotte, NC, Kanzata A. Pendell; Great Grandchildren: Jacob Griffin of Buford,SC, Alexis Griffin of Buford, SC, Madison Griffin of Buford, SC and Elijah Cole Helms of Charlotte, NC; sister Renee Hammond (Bob) Port Crane, NY; brother Nelson Parenteau (Sharon) of Apalachin, NY; brother-in-law JD Deolidera of Johnson City NY. Mrs. Rita Bailey will conduct a memorial service on Monday at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Barron Funeral Home in Chester. The family will greet friends following the service.
