Blackstock Mrs. Ella Mae Millwood Poston, 77, died Monday, October 15, 2018, at her home.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Skeet Thomas officiating.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC.Interment will be private. Mrs. Poston was born December 27, 1940 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late Ralph Millwood and Ella Thelma Gregory Millwood.She was a graduate of Chester High School and was retired from B.C. Moore’s in Chester.Mrs. Poston was a member of Wilksburg Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher.Mae-Mae loved yard sales and finding a good deal.Her family was her heart and she treasured the time she spent with them. She is survived by three children, Donna McGarity of Blackstock, Sheila Keenon (Mike) of Chester and Tony Poston of Union; seven grandchildren, James Brandon Lanier (Tracy), Robyn Lynn Lanier, Hannah Keenon, Mallory Ann Poston, Trent Loftis, Jr. Loftis and Zach Loftis; and two great grandchildren, B.J. Lanier and Levi Sawyer Lindler.Mrs. Poston was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Donald Poston and a brother, William Millwood.
