.ChesterMrs. Elizabeth (Lib) Bailey Pegram, 90, died Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster.A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Evergreen Cemetery in Chester with Rev. Trey Hegar officiating.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC and other times at the home of Elizabeth and Louie Still, 1748 Canal Rd., Catawba, SC.Mrs. Pegram was born September 29, 1921 in the Armenia community of Chester County and was the daughter of the late Frank Curtis Bailey and Martha Good Bailey.She graduated from Chester High School and was a member of Purity Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Powell Bible Study group and the Lex Wilkes Sunday School class.Mrs. Pegram and her husband, the late W. Ward Pegram, were owners of the Chester News newspaper.After the paper was sold, she was employed as a secretary with the Chester County School District at Southside Elementary School until her retirement.She is survived by her daughter, Beth Hyatt and her husband Eddie of Catawba; a grandson, Bill Hyatt and his wife Stacey; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Still and her husband Louie all of Catawba; and two great-grandsons, Curtis and Jonathan Hyatt of Catawba.Mrs. Pegram was preceded in death by her husband, W.
