Chester Mrs. Elizabeth Annette Brown Parker, 69, died Sunday, December 18, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December, 21, 2022 at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Ogburn officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the church. Mrs. Parker was born September 9, 1953 in Rockingham, NC and was the daughter of the late Rev. Charles Brown and Lois Davis Brown. She was a graduate of Abbeville High School and also held certifications in cosmetology and certified nursing. Mrs. Parker was retired from York County Board of Disabilities and also worked with Eckerd’s Drug Store, Merle Normans and Independent Life of Chester; SC. Lib was a person of great faith. She enjoyed crocheting with her group “The Nit Wits”, and she enjoyed gospel singing, westerns and Andy Griffith. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Billy Parker; one daughter, Ashley Darby (Josh) of Chester, SC; one son, Eric Howze (fiancé Jessica) of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren, Dillon Darby, Justin Darby and Alyssa Darby; two brothers, David Brown (Jennie Ann) of Barnwell, SC and Stephen Brown (Kathy) of Laurens, SC and numerous nieces and nephews.
