Mrs. Elizabeth Susan Jackson Houston, 64, died Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at her home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 14. 2019 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Richburg, SCwith Rev. Phillip Chandler and Rev. Vernon Thornhill officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.The family will receive friendsThursday, November 14, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 2868 Gaston Farm Road, Richburg, SC, 29729. Mrs. Houston was born February 6, 1955 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late John Hugh Jackson, Sr. and Martha Campbell Jackson. She was a graduate of Lewisville High School and attended York Tech. Mrs. Houston was formerly employed with the textile industry and was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, Michael Houston (Christy) of Clover, SC; three grandchildren, Martha Burton of Chester, SC, Dawson Houston and Tucker Houston both of Clover, SC; one brother, Johnny Jackson of Rodman, SC; one sister, Mattie Burton of Chester, SC; one nephew, Roger Burton, Jr. of Chester, SC. Mrs. Houston was preceded in death by her husband Timothy Wayne “Santa Claus” Houston. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 1639 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
