Chester, SC Mrs. Elizabeth P. Grant "Mama Lib", 94, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday November 24, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Mike Burgess officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Mrs. Grant was born November 5, 1926 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late Robert E. Proctor and Ila Hicks Proctor. She was a graduate of Chester High School and was a homemaker. Mrs. Grant was a member of Bethel U.M.C. where she was a faithful servant and held numerous leadership positions in the church. She is survived by one daughter, Janet G. Gentry (Mike) of Anderson, SC; three grandchildren, Holly Windham (Steve) of Seneca, SC, Lindsey Gentry of Anderson, SC and Mikki Bailey (Mike) of Sylvia, NC; ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Lindsay Grant; one brother Bobby Proctor and one sister Betty Bigham.
