Chester Elizabeth Rose (Lib) Butler Smith, 81, died Monday, December 28, 2015 in Rock Hill, SC.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Don Etters officiating.Interment will follow at Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Barron Funeral Home. Born May 4, 1934 in Great Falls, SC, Mrs. Smith was a daughter of the late Reuben Adger Butler and Tallaluh Davis Butler and the widow of Allen Pete Smith, Sr.She was a graduate of Chester High School, retired from Department of Social Services, and a member of New Life Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Pete Smith of Chester, SC, and Gerald Moore (Dawn) of Rock Hill, SC; three grandchildren, Allan Smith of Rock Hill, SC, Madison Smith of Chester, SC, and Trey Barfield of Rock Hill, SC.The family would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to Susan Evans, Barbara Blake and Dawn Moore for their continued care of Lib.
