Ms. Elizabeth Lorene Black, 73, died Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Chester Regional Medical Center in Chester.The funeral will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. James Sanders and Rev. Melvin Pressley officiating.The interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday at Barron Funeral Home. Born December 7, 1940 in Union, SC, Ms. Black was a daughter of the late Sam R. and Belle Knox Black.She attended the schools of Union County, SC and was formerly employed with Springs Industries and Oxford Sports. She is survived by two sisters, Nancy D. Black and Helen Meredith both of Chester, SC and nieces and nephews. Ms. Black was preceded in death by three sisters, Susie B. Palmer, Nell B. Dover and Betty B. Thompson and four brothers, William E. Black, Robert Black, James Black and Franklin D. Black.
