Mrs. Elisa Avila Ammons, 77, died Monday, August 26, 2019 at her home.No services are scheduled at the present time. Born May 24, 1942 in Toreon Coela, MX, Mrs. Ammons was the daughter of the late Gonzalo and Hosefina Avila Ammons.She was the widow of Ernest Dwight Ammons. She is survived by three sons, Steve Ammons of Chester, SC, Omar Dwight Ammons (Minnie) of Brownsville, TX and Sergio Ammons of Gastonia, NC; one daughter, Celia Stewart of Gastonia, NC and one grandson, Stephen Stewart of Gastonia, NC.
