Chester, SC?Mr. Elbert Edgar Hopper, Jr., age 68, died Saturday, November15, 2008 at Chester Regional Medical Center. Memorial Service will be 12:00 noon Tuesday at Barron Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe Riley officiating. Interment will be private. Mr. Hopper was born April 9, 1940 in Union County , SC a son of the late Edgar E. and Georgie Sealy Hopper. He attended Chester County Schools, was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was retired from Essex of Chester. Surviving are one brother, Harold Hopper and wife Barbara of Chester; one sister, Margaret Hall and husband Larry of Chester. A special niece, Franquitta Blanchett and husband Duncan of Chester, SC.
