CHESTER?.. Edna Cloud Eddleman Brantley, 98, formerly of Chester died Monday, August 3, 2009 at Uni Health in Rock Hill, SC. The funeral will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Stallings officiating.Interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens. Born October 28, 1910 in Chester County, Ms. Brantley was the daughter of the late Robert T. and Cora Gwinn Cloud.She was a graduate of Chester High School and attended Kings Business College in Charlotte, NC.She was retired from Springs Industries as a cloth inspector.She was a member of Council on Aging, VFW Ladies Auxilary and the National Guard Auxilary.She was also a member ofSprings Flag Line and Second Baptist Church. Surviving are one son, Robert A. Eddleman of Rockledge, Florida; two daughter-in-laws, Roxie M. Eddleman and Joyce D. Eddleman both of Rock Hill, SC; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; fifteen great-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by two sons, David F. Eddleman, Jr. and Ray M. Eddleman. The family will receive friends from 1:00 ? 2:00 PM Thursday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester. SC and other times at the home of Roxie M. Eddleman, 1616 Nicholson Avenue, Rock Hill, SC. Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church, 729 Village Drive, Chester, SC 29706.
