Earl Brison Thompson

Chester Mr. Earl Brison Thompson, Jr. 70, died Sunday, December 27, 2020 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, December 30,2020 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Black officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Due to Covid-19, Please be respectful and wear aface mask and practice social distancing.Interment will be private. Mr. Thompson was born August 21, 1950 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Earl Brison Thompson Sr. and Cynthia Dickey Thompson. He was a graduate of Chester High School and also York Tech. Mr. Thompson was retired from Springs Industries. Earl enjoyed woodworking and camping with his family. He also enjoyed attending thedance competitionsand recitals for his granddaughter Bree. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of over 49 years, Becky Gregory Thompson; two children, Anthony Thompson (Sherrie)and Holly Thompson Hatchell (Brian) both of Chester, SC; six grandchildren, Austin Hatchell, Bree Hatchell, Hope Thompson, Haley Thompson, Dylan Watts and Josh Adams; one great grandson, Liam Dean; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Lunsford, brother-in-law Eddie Gregory.
