Mr. Earl Jennings Beam, 71, died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Chester Regional Medical Center.A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Tommy Upchurch and Pastor Melvin Presley officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mr. Beam was born December 11, 1939 in Chester and was a son of the late Willie Beam and Lula Rogers Beam.He attended the schools of Chester Co. and retired from Springs Industries where he worked as a fixer for more than 43 years.He attended Cornerstone Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Doris Windham Beam; one son, Earl ?Buddy? Beam, Jr. of Chester; two daughters, Darla Campbell and her husband Ralph of Richburg and Tammy Carrillo and her husband Salvador of Chester; six grandchildren, Bryan Revels, Brent Beam, Kelly Revels, Porsha Carrillo, Tyler Beam, and Bradley Beam; five great grandchildren, Nick Revels, Kyleigh Revels, Ethan Revels, Rylan Revels, and Jaxson Montgomery; one sister, Carol Beam Roddey of Chester; and one brother, Roger Beam of Georgia.He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
