Mr. Douglas Wayne Robinson, 72, died Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at his residence.A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, January 5, 2018 at Bethesda Presbyterian Church in York, SC.The family will receive friends anytime at the home. Born November 26, 1945 in York County, SC, Mr. Robinson was a son of the late James I. Robinson, Sr. and Essie Adkins Robinson.He was retired from Jerry’s Plumbing in Conway, SC and was a member of Poplar United Methodist Church in Conway, SC.Mr. Robinson was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and also enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his wife of over forty-seven years Dianne Dellinger Robinson, two sons, Horace W. Robinson and Robert Douglas Robinson both of Chester, SC; three brothers, Jimmy Robinson, Ricky Robinson (Linda) and Glenn Robinson (Betty) all of Rock Hill, SC; four sisters, Joanne Jones, Betty Beam (Ed), Cecelia Alexander (Darius) all of Rock Hill, SC and Gail Gregory (Eddie)of Chester, SC; a special brother-in-law, Buddy Pearson of Chester, SC and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by three sisters, Sara Pearson, Brenda Varnadore and Nancy Robinson.
