Mr. Douglas Scott “Scottie” Privette, 51, died Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at his home. The funeral service will be 3:00 PM Friday, June 4, 2021 at Lando Church of God with Rev. Ed Harris officiating.The burial will be in Lando Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 -3:00 PM Friday at the Lando Church of God. Born December 21, 1969, Mr. Privette was the son of Grady Lee Privette and Kathy Wade Bagley.He was a graduate of Lewisville High School and was a welder by trade.He was an avid golfer and loved being a paw-paw. Survivors in addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of over thirty-one years, Angie Willard Privette; three children, William Brett Church, Jr., Travis Scott Privette and Kimber Brooke Privette all of Chester, SC; nine grandchildren, Hannah, Karlee, Chance, Makenzie, Miley, Anna K., Chasney, Olivia and Colt; two brothers, Jamie Lee Privette of Chester and Jonathan Edward Gainer (Samantha) of Richburg, SC; Michael Shane Hinson whom was reared with Scottie and was loved as a brother; numerous nieces and nephews; and his step-mother, Hazel Privette of Rock Hill, SC.
