Great Falls, SC Mrs. Dorothy Elaine Reid Williams, 59, died Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center in Pineville, NC.The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend John Rogers and Reverend Tommy Howell officiating.The interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Barron Funeral Home. Born July 7, 1954 in Chester, SC, Mrs. Williams was a daughter of the late Walter Lee Reid, Sr. and Esther Leone Brakefield Reid Jones.She was a graduate of Chester High School and a homemaker.Mrs. Williams was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Great Falls, SC and was presently attending Oakhurst Baptist Church in Heath Springs, SC.She was a member of the Red Hat Club of Great Falls. She is survived by her husband of over forty-one years Michael D. Williams; two sons, Michael B. Williams and his wife Jennifer and Christopher R. Williams and his wife April all of Lancaster, SC; three grandchildren, Brandi-Lee Wilson, Grayson Williams and Christopher Cody Williams; two sisters, Patricia R. Clack and Mildred Henderson both of Chester; one brother, Ronnie E. Reid of Chester and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by a brother Walter Lee Reid, Jr. Memorials may be made to Oakhurst Baptist Church, 394 Barrett Road, Heath Springs, SC 29058.
