CHESTER, SC: Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth “Dottie” Brown Dove, 68, died Monday, August 22, 2016 at her home.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Barron Funeral Home.The funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at The Community Church with Reverend Ronnie Greene and Reverend Keith Hinson officiating.The interment will be at Chester Memorial Gardens. Born on July 3, 1948 in Anderson, SC, Mrs. Dove was the daughter of the late George William Brown and Dorothy Hill Brown.Mrs. Dove was manager of B & D Rental Properties in Chester. She was a member of Woodward Baptist Church and attended The Community Church. She is survived by her husband of over thirty-one years, Bobby Dove; five children, Del Bailey and Steve Whitfield and his wife Katrina of Anderson, SC, James Whitfield and his wife Kaci, Doug Whitfield and his wife Michelle and Bobby James Dove and his wife Cathy all of Chester, SC; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren and her caregivers Selina McMahan and Sadie Dubose.
