Mrs. Doris Clinton Lindsey, 86, of 961 B. Shallowbrook Drive died Monday, June 22, 2009 at Chester Regional Medical Center. The funeral will be 2:00 Wednesday at Second Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Bishop and Reverend Bill Stallings officiating.Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Born February 26, 1923 in Chester, SC she was the daughter of the late Henry M. Clinton and Ruth McCandless Clinton.She attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Springs Industries. She was the widow of William Crawford Lindsey, Sr. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, William ?Billy? and Linda Lindsey of Chester; three grandchildren, William Lindsey, III and his wife Bonnie of Chester, Melissa Lindsey of Chester and Gina Jordan and her husband Thomas of Chester; two great grandchildren, Ryan Jordan and Tyler Jordan both of Chester and one sister, Dorothy C. Martin of Chester.She was preceded in death by a grandson Timothy W. Lindsey. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester.
