Mrs. Doris Varnadore Lewis, 80, died Thursday, July 24, 2014, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at Barron Funeral Home with Dr. Reggie Parker officiating.Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, July 26, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mrs. Lewis was born April 22, 1934 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late Walker W. Varnadore and Rosa Revels Varnadore.She was a homemaker who loved to cook.She loved her family, all people, but especially loved the Lord.Mrs. Lewis was very active with her church family at Liberty Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Thomas C. Lewis; one daughter, Brenda and Brad Trout; one son, Michael and Debra Lewis; grandchildren, Bradley and Laura Trout, and Brandon and April Trout; one sister, Margaret Hudson; and many nieces.She was preceded in death by two brothers, George W.
