Mrs. Doris Polk Ernandez, 93, died Sunday, February 3, 2013.The graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Lando Cemetery with Rev. Mike Morris officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service in the social hall of Heath Memorial United Methodist Church. Born June 1, 1919 at Chester, SC, Mrs. Ernandez was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Polk and Maude Hough Polk.She attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Manetta Mills as a cloth room folder.She was a member of Heath Memorial United Methodist Church.She enjoyed writing poems and other inspiring literature.She was the widow of William B. Ernandez. She is survived by one daughter, Lucy E. Bolton and her husband Richard of Chester; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by one daughter, Jane E. Turner.
