Donna Jean Thompson

Chester Ms. Donna Jean Thompson, 54, died Friday, January 10, 2020, at MUSC-Chester Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends also Thursday at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM. Interment will be private. Ms. Thompson was born June 26, 1965 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late Donald L. Thompson and Betty Jean Black Thompson.She was a graduate of the schools of Chester County and was formerly employed with Shutterfly.Donna was an avid Gamecock fan and she loved Dale Earnhardt, racing and fishing. She is survived by a sister, Deann Marie Thompson of Chester and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Friends of the Animals, P.O. Box 58, Chester, SC 29706.
