Lancaster Mr. Donald Edward Roberts, Sr., 53, died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at his home.A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 27, 2103, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Compton officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 27, immediately following the service until 8:00 PM at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mr. Roberts was born March 21, 1960 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Foster Floyd Roberts and Jeanette Brewer Roberts.He attended the schools of Chester County and was owner and operator of Roberts Paint & Body Shop.Mr. Roberts was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved Nascar racing, especially #3, and was a huge Miami Dolphins fan. He is survived by one daughter, Crystal R. Thomas and husband Jason of Chester; two sons, Don-Don Roberts and wife Jenny Lyn of Chester and Brandon Roberts of Chester; four grandchildren; three brothers, David Roberts and Charles Roberts both of Lancaster and Johnny Roberts of Gaffney; and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Foster F. Roberts, Jr. and Terry Michael Roberts and two sisters, Gloria Jean Roberts and Judy Levine Price. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
