Donald Rishebarger

Mr. Donald Rishebarger, 88, of Silver Spring, Maryland, and Deland, Florida, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the home of his son with his family around him. Born in Addison, Pennsylvania, on May 8, 1927, he was the faithful son of the late Harry B. and Olive Pore Rishebarger. Don was a proud veteran, having served our country in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. Mr. Rishebarger is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sally Bangs Rishebarger; his sons and their wives Scott and Kathy Rishebarger of Richburg, South Carolina, and Mark and Mary Anne Rishebarger of Baltimore, Maryland; grandchildren Avianna, Katie, and Angie Rishebarger and Andrew Klein;and a very special niece Susan Rishebarger of Ashburn, Virginia. A celebration of his life will be held in Silver Spring, Maryland at a later date. Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street in Chester, is in charge of local arrangements.
