Mr. McGinn was born December 3, 1967 in Charlotte, NC and was a son of Linda McWilliams McGinn and the late Donald Edward McGinn Sr. He was a graduate of Independence High School in Charlotte, NC and was a retired automotive mechanic. In addition to his mother he is survived by one son Dakota McGinn of Virginia; two sisters, Amanda Holcombe of Waxhaw, NC and Donna Starnes. His wife Kim McGinn preceded Mr. McGinn in death.
