CHESTER: Mr. Donald Davis, 80, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Morningside in Lancaster, SC.The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2016 at First Baptist Church Lowrys with Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating. The interment will be in Armenia United Methodist Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Barron Funeral Home. Mr. Davis was born November 13, 1935 in Bullocks Creek, SC.He attended the schools of York and Chester Counties.He was retired as a shop mechanic from Springs Industries and was owner and operator of Davis Deer Processing.He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lowrys. He was survived by three sons, Larry Davis (Mary) and Kenneth Davis (Debra) both of Chester and Terry Davis (Tiffany) of Rock Hill; two daughters, Kay Farrow of Lancaster and Vickie Hefner (Ken) of Shelby, NC; nineteen grandchildren; forty-five great grandchildren and one sister, Judy Small of Clinton, SC.He was preceded in death by his mother Nettie Davis, two granddaughters, one great granddaughter and one brother, Charles Leonard.
