Mrs. Diana Starnes Boyd, 65, died Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 28, 2012, at Westside Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Fowler officiating.Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM on Friday at Westside Baptist Church, 523 Rose St., Chester, SC. Mrs. Boyd was born January 1, 1947 in Chester and was a daughter of the late Lloyd Purcell Starnes and Ruby Gibson Starnes.She was a graduate of t Chester High School class of 1965, was retired from First Citizens Bank as a teller, and a member of Westside Baptist Church.She was a loving wife, mother, sister and Nana. She is survived by her husband, John T. Boyd; one daughter, Mandy Campbell and husband Joe of McConnells; two grandchildren, Jessica Campbell and Christopher Campbell of McConnells; a brother, Chuck Starnes and wife Barbara of Chester; two nieces, Michele Rafsky and husband Dave of Maryland and Kelly Starnes of Chester; and great-nephews and nieces, Brandon, Noah, Danny, and Ruby.
