Mr. Dewey Albert Blevins, 79,died Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Magnolia Manor in Rock Hill, SC. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Chester Memorial Gardens with Rev. Joanne Hawkins officiating. Born August 28, 1929 in St. Paul, Virginia, Mr. Blevins was the son of the late Chester and Georgia McCoy Blevins Hill.He attended St. Paul High School in St. Paul, Virginia.He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Korean War and was retired from general contruction as a roofer. He is survived by a brother, Gene Blevins and his wife Victoria of Chester, SC. Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester is in charge of arrangements.
