Derrell Kenneth Coggins

Mr. Derrell Kenneth Coggins, 71, died Sunday, August 24, 2025 at his home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 29, 2025 at Heath Memorial Methodist Church with Rev. David Christopher and Rev. Larry Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Lando Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Barron Funeral Home.

Mr. Coggins was born June 29, 1954 in Rock Hill, SC and was the son of the late Derrell Thurman Coggins and Macle Bernice Irby. He attended the schools of Lewisville; SC. Kenny was a pipefitter by trade having traveled all across the United States using his talent as a pipefitter. He was an accomplished fisherman and spent a lot of time on Santee and Lake Murray. Kenny was a member of Richburg Masonic Lodge #89 and was a member of Heath Memorial Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of over 51 years, Sherri “Boo” Coggins; one son Joshua Derrell Coggins of Lando, SC; one daughter, Crissie Pagain (Carl) of Lando, SC; three grandchildren, Walker Joshua Coggins of Lando, SC, Macie Paquin of Lando, SC and Dylan Paquin of Chester,SC; two  brothers, Stanley Coggins (Sue) of Edgemoor, SC and Bruce Coggins of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews.
