Delores Roof Mckinney

Chester: Delores Roof McKinney, 68, died Friday, January 14, 2011 at her home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 17, 2011 at First Church of the Nazarene with Reverend John Porter and Reverend Bayliss Adimaro officiating. Interment will be held in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Barron Funeral Home and other times at the home of Tracey and Eddie Railey, 615 Caswell Street, Chester, SC 29706. Mrs. McKinney was born May 14, 1942 in Chester, SC a daughter of the late Hosie Odell Roof and Janie Sue Taylor Roof. She was a graduate of Chester High School and Chester Nursing School. Mrs. McKinney was retired from Chester County Hospital and was a lifetime member of First Church of the Nazarene. She was the widow of Olian Francis McKinney, Jr. She is survived by two daughters; Kathryn R. Hunter of Wartburg, TN and Tracey Mckinney Railey and her husband Eddie of Chester, SC; one son, Michael Scott Roberts of Chester, SC; four grandchildren, Jessica H. Armes and her husband Kevin and Christopher Hunter all of Wartburg, TN, Reagan Railey and Ryane Railey both of Chester, SC and one great- granddaughter Kayden F. Armes of Wartburg, TN.
