Deborah Jean Wilson Caldwell

Deborah Jean Wilson Caldwell died Friday, November 29, 2024, at her home.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Jon Parrish officiating.  Interment will follow at Chester Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Born June 7, 1951 in Lancaster, SC, Debbie was a graduate of Chester High School and Chester Nursing School.  She retired from Piedmont OB/GYN as an LPN and also worked for over 20 years with Chester Hospital.  She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene where she sang in the choir, taught children's Sunday School and served in many various positions within the church.  Debbie was a talented crafter.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren painting, cooking and just being together.

In addition to her mother, Rachel Morgan Wilson, she is survived by her husband of over 55 years, William R. Caldwell, Sr.; three children, Linda Caston (Steve), Patty Nichols (Adam) and William R. "Billy" Caldwell (Jessica) all of Chester, SC; nine grandchildren, Trent, Timmy Jason, Zach, Katie, Angie, Sophi, Thatcher, Amber, Kayla, Brian, CJ, Carter and Jayme; six great grandchildren, Raegan, Michelle, Ally, Lauren, River and Finley; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Wilson; two sisters, Sylvia Brown and Angie Wilson and her brother, Lucky Wilson.
