Debbie Jean Eldred passed away at her home in Chester, SC on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the age of 55. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Barron Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating. Debbie is predeceased by her parents, Paul and Sandy Rouille Catella, her brother, Paul Catella, Jr., niece Samantha and nephew Justin. She is survived by her loving husband Launey of 11 years. They were married in Jericho, Vermont on September 2, 2006. Debbie was born in Burlington, VT November 25, 1961. She graduated from Burlington High School in 1979 and worked for 21 years as a dental technician. Debbie was born a Vermont Yankee, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family as well as her dedication to dog rescue and fostering. She was a lover of life. She could walk in a room of 200 strangers and walk out with 200 friends. Debbie is lovingly remembered by her husband Launey of Chester, SC; two step-sons, Jesse Eldred of Denver, CO and Jonathan Eldred of Clemson, SC, bother Jimmy Catella of Barre, VT; sister Christy Spannbauer of Sunset Beach, NC; sister Lisa and her husband Kevin Coon of Swanto, VT; her best friend Todd Perrott of Chester, SC, loving nieces Ashly, Hannah and Brittany, nephews Jeremy, Christopher, Joshua, William, Nicholas and other relatives. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Southern Animal Welfare League, 2505 Woodbury Lane, Catawba, SC 29704. Pay Pal, Southern Animal Welfare League @ gmail.com.
