Fort Lawn Mr. DarrellWayne Hinson, Sr., 56, died Friday, February 23, 2018, at his home.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 2, 2018, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Ratcliff officiating.Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mr. Hinson was born April 5, 1961 in Fort Mill, SC and was a son of the late William Calvin Hinson, Sr. and Juanita Lear Hinson.He attended the schools of York County and York Tech.Mr. Hinson was a self-employed mechanic, a commercial pipe fitter and a long distance truck driver.In his earlier years, Wayne was lead singer and part of a local band. He is survived by his wife, Dawn (Aiken) Sundeen-Hinson; two sons, Darrell W. Hinson, II and Thomas Lee Hinson both of Fort Lawn; four brothers, Harold Hinson (Vanessa) of McConnells, William C. “Bill” Hinson, Jr. (Patsy) of Chester, Danny Hinson of Fort Lawn and Jerry Hinson of Florence; and numerous nieces and nephews.Mr. Hinson was preceded in death by an infant brother, Michael Dennis Hinson and two sisters, Elaine Hensley and Linda Stanford.
