Mr. Dana Oriel Roberts, 65, died Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at his home.Funeral services and interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the home. Mr. Roberts was born August 12, 1952 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Burris Roberts and Helen Wishert Roberts.He attended the schools of Chester County and was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.Mr. Robert was retired from Thyssen Krupp Steel and was a member of First Baptist Church.Dana was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast. He is survived by one son, Cody Richard Roberts of Columbia; one sister, Paula Roberts Morris and her son, Brad Morris of Lexington; his caregiver and niece, Leslie Roberts Fairey (Frank) of Rock Hill; a niece, Alicia Campbell Freeman of Plano, Tx.; a nephew, Scott Campbell of Destin, Fl.; other nieces, Brooke Williams and Amy Perry; and an aunt, Ida Mae Keenan of Chester.Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by a sister, Ilda Roberts Campbell and a brother, Steve Roberts.
