Dale Eugene Cook, Jr.

Dale Eugene Cook, Jr., died, Thursday, October 29, 2026 at Hospice and Community Care in Rock Hill, SC. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 5, 2026 at Armenia Methodist Church Cemetery with brother Tommy Fulp officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. 

He was born February 27, 1951 in Cleveland OH. and was the son of the late Dale Eugene Cook Sr. and Theo Virigina Britt Cook., he attended AC Flora High School in Columbia, SC and graduated through the GED program. He also attended Midlands Tech where he received his associate's degree in business management. He was a retired veteran of the US Navy having served during Vietnam. Dale was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in York, SC.

He is survived by three sons Dale M. Cook of Lexington, Ky, Nathan Cook of Gaston, SC and Will C. Hopkins of W. Columbia, SC; one daughter, Beckie D. Smith (Noah) of Chester, SC; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother and five sisters and numerous nieces and nephews and his dearest and special friend Cheryl Catic of McConnells, SC.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of over 39 years, Laura Stephenson Cook.
