Chester, SC: Cynthia Reeves"Sissy" Stone Crouch Mobley, 69, died Friday, July 15, 2022 at MUSC Kershaw Health Medical Center, Camden, SC. A Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM Monday, July 18, 2022 at Chester Freedom Ministries with Reverend Steve Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends also Monday at the church from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Burial will follow in Beaver Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Mobley was born in Chester, SC on January 18, 1953 and was a daughter of the late Ray Crawford Reeves and Edith Kinsey Reeves. She was a graduate of Chester High School through the GED program and was formerly employed with Springs Industries and Bi-Lo but her greatest enjoyment was being a Homemaker. Sissy was a member of Chester Freedom Ministries and later attended Saluda Street Church of God with her Husband Billy. Sissy enjoyed bowling and was also part a a bowling league. She was an accomplished cook and she shared that talent with her family and many friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, George Stone and Doc Crouch, her brother, Ricky Reeves and her grandson, Andrew Jacob Hall. Sissy is survived by her husband, Billy Gene Mobley, Jr.; her daughter, Lisa Stone Hall (Guy) and her son, Charlie Stone (Paula) all of Chester, SC; three grandchildren, Hannah Hall, Kody Hall and Carson Stone ; her brother, Ray Reeves of Chester, SC; her sister-in-law, Gail Reeves of North Charleston, SC and her cousin whom she loved like her sister, Gwen Gibson and several other cousins and nieces and nephews.
