Mr. Curtis Ivan Gaddy, 76, died Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Atrium Health of Monroe, NC.A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Trinity Presbyterian Church with Rev. Rick Wheeler officiating.The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the sanctuary of the church.The interment will be private. Born September 25, 1942 in Lowrys, South Carolina, Mr. Gaddy was the son of the late Fred and Margaret Elizabeth Gibson Gaddy.He was a graduate of Chester High School and attended Spartanburg Junior College.Mr. Gaddy was former owner and operator of Gaddy Furniture and was currently operating Lark Portable Buildings of Lancaster, SC.Mr. Gaddy was a South Carolina licensed insurance agent for Prudential Insurance Company.He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.His faith in God sustained him through his illness. He is survived by his wife, Diane Gaddy of Chester; two daughters, Liz Gaddy Steeleand her husband Colin of Gastonia, NC and Kimberly Gaddy of Conway, SC; one son, John David Gaddy and his wife Tasha of Conway, SC; one step-son, Mark Suber and his wife Kathy of Chester, SC; sister, Martha Wilkes and husband Jackie of Winnsboro, SC; one brother, Dean Gaddy and his wife Beth of Chester, SC; his brother-in-law Ken Nelson and five grandchildren.In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Joyce Gaddy Nelson.
