Mrs. Colleen Yvonne Fite Sorenson, 74, died Monday, November 14, 2011 at Chester Regional Medical Center.The funeral service will be 3:00 PM Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Saluda Street Church of God with Reverend Jimmie Cox officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Barron Funeral Home. The interment will be at Chester Memorial Gardens. Born May 11, 1937 in Lancaster County, SC, Mrs. Sorenson was a daughter of the late Elmer and Cathleen Horton Fite.She attended the schools of Chester County and was formerly employed with A & P Grocery Store and Blacks Drug Store.Mrs. Sorenson was a member of the Saluda Street Church of God.She is survived by two sons, Michael Guyton and his wife Tammara of Union, SC and Edward Love;two grandchildren, Christina Guyton and Megan Guyton both of Union; one great granddaughter, Merey Guyton of Union, SC; one sister, Peggy Wilson of Chester; one brother, J.C.
