Clara Agee Crosby

Chester Mrs. Clara Agee Crosby passed away December 7, 2018 at her home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. David Sealy officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 12 noon until 1 p.m. at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Interment will follow in Old Purity Cemetery. Born June 2, 1930 in Augusta, Georgia, Mrs. Crosby was the daughter of the late Christine and Theo Mullis and the widow of Charlie Coleman Crosby. Mrs. Crosby was the beloved mother of five children, daughter, Debbie Crosby (Gary) Jennings; daughter, Charleen Crosby (Jack) Collins; son, Byron Crosby (Marlene), daughter, Pat Crosby (Larry) Foster and son, Ricky Crosby. She was the grandmother of nine grandchildren, Lori Anne Jennings, Keith Jennings, Heather Jennings (Matt) Terry, Matthew Collins, Eric Collins (Afi), Paul Collins (Sherrie), Julie Foster (Steve) Morton, Jessica Crosby and Tyler Crosby; and the great-grandmother of eight great-grandchildren, Logan Foster, Emma Collins, Abby Carpenter, Evan Terry, Nathan Terry, Finley Terry, Chandler Crosby and McCrae Tran. She will always be remembered for her undying love and devotion for God, her family and friends, her beautiful bright eyes and sweet smile, her concern for others above herself, and her ability to forgive and forget.
