Christopher William Lipford

Christopher William Lipford (Chris), 66, died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family, Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Saluda Street Church of God with Eric Partain officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Barron Funeral Home, Cheser, SC and other times at 1108 Old York Road, Chester, SC.

Mr. Lipford was born December 1, 1958, in Chester, SC and was the son of George Lipford and the late Willie Mae McCameron Lipford. He attended the schools in Chester County. Chris was self-employed as a mobile truck tire repairman.

He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Angie Skinner Lipford; five children, Christy Marie Beckham (Tony), Jessica Nicole Roof (AJ), Christopher Wayne Lipford, Kayla Paige Price (Tony) and Megan Leigh Landry (Junior) all of Chester, SC. Twenty grandkids, Keileigh (Zach), Gabryella, Hayden, Jayden, Makenna, Troy, Zion, Colt, Thompson, Remi, Greyson, Emmarie, Kambrin, Lakelyn, Zaylor, Melah, Kyree, Everlee, Hermione and Zane; numerous nieces and nephews. One brother Stoney Lipford (Teresa) of Chester, SC.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Lipford.
