Chester Mrs. Cherie Ruth Lowry Yanish, 86, diedMonday, June 1, 2020, at her home.Due to Covid-19, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Yanish was born November 19, 1933 in Memphis, Tennessee and was a daughter of the late Everett Lowry and Annabel Cherry Lowry.She was a high school graduate and worked for many years in the grocery industry.Mrs. Yanish was also a homemaker.She was an avid quilter, loved crafts, traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.Mrs. Yanish was a member of First Baptist Church Lowrys. She is survived by one son, Louis Roy; five grandchildren, Cherie Ann McDaniel, Marion Lorraine Springer, Krystal Lynn Miller, Elanna Rose Patterson and Mark Steven Myer; eight great grandchildren, Brandi Ariel, Dezaree Kathleen, Rabeka Trinity, Lloyd Andrew, Luke Aiden, Lily Lynn, Jayda Mae and Justin Patterson; and a son-in-law, Richard Clark.Mrs. Yanish was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Yanish; and four children, Charles Everett, Sharon Leigh, Deborah Mae and Robert Earle.
