Charlye Hullender Bailey

Chester, SC: Charlye Hullender Bailey, 55, died Friday, June 21, 2013 at CMC Mercy, Charlotte, NC. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, June 23, 2013 at West Chester Baptist Church with Reverend Jeff Gulish officiating. The family will receive friends also Sunday at the church from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Interment will be private. Mrs. Bailey was born in Mecklenberg, County, NC on June 14, 1958. She was a daughter of the late Charles Hullender and Helen Boyles Hullender. She was a graduate of Chester High School and also attended the schools of Cherryville, NC and Midlands and York Technical Colleges. Mrs. Bailey is retired from Chester EMS as a paramedic and was a long time Head Start Teacher. She was a member of West Chester Baptist Church. Mrs. Bailey is survived by her loving life companion, William C. “Bill” Curtis of Chester, SC; one son, Charles L. Dove (Tracy); one daughter, Amanda Moore (Lin); granddaughter Dakota Dove and one grandson, Christopher Dove all of Chester, SC. She was preceded in death by her twin daughters Mary Helen and Kerry Ellen Dove. Memorials may be made to West Chester Baptist Church, 1898 Pinckney Road, Chester, SC 29706.
