Charles Robert "Chuck" Wiseman

Mr. Charles Robert “Chuck” Wiseman, Sr., 80, died Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC.A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Church of Christ at Gold Hill Road, Fort Mill SC. with Mr. Steve Miller and Mr. Robert Hatfield officiating. The family will also receive friends Saturday at the church from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Born December 19, 1939 in Oklahoma City, OK, Mr. Wiseman was a son of the late Jesse Franklin Wiseman and Mary Gulley Wiseman.He was a graduate of Garfield High School in Akron Ohio and Abilene Christian College in Abilene, TX where he played football.He served in the United States Army Reserve and was retired from Fina Oil and Chemical Atlanta, GA.He was a member of Church of Christ at Gold Hill Road in Fort Mill, SC. He is survived by his wife of over fifty years, Betty Mac McCombs Wiseman; three sons, Charles Robert Wiseman, Jr (Lucineia) of Ft. Mill, SC, Jesse Edward Wiseman (Erin) of Charleston, SC and Russell Blaine Wiseman of Ft. Mill, SC; five grandchildren, Ana-Paula Wiseman and Phinneas Wiseman both of Fort Mill, SC, Lily Margaret Wiseman, Benjamin Peter Wiseman and Luke Davis Wiseman all of Charleston, SC; one sister Billie Joyce Dewhirst of Clarksville, IN and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Marie Wiseman and a brother, Jesse Franklin Wiseman, Jr. Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ at Gold Hill, 1055 Gold Hill Road,Fort Mill, SC 29708.
