Charles Thomas "Chuck" Wilson

Asheville, NC Mr. Charles Thomas “Chuck” Wilson, 62, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday October 3, 2021 at Barron Funeral Home with Mr. Jamie Jennings officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday October 3, 2021 at Barron Funeral Home. Mr. Wilson was born December 17, 1958 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Harold Albert Wilson and Jean Elizabeth Tennant Wilson. He attended the schools of Chester County and was formerly employed with Springs Industries Eureka mill and later with Orkin Pest Control. He was a long time Dixie League Baseball coach and Mite League Football coach. Chuck was an avid Vikings fan and loved sports, so in honoring the memory of Chuck please come the memorial service in the attire of your favorite sports team. He is survived by his wife of over five years, Sandra Gregg Wilson; three children, Miki Wilson, Chad Wilson (Michelle) and Tracie Wilson (John Hargett ) all of Chester, SC ; three step-children Jessica Taylor of Lancaster, SC, Rebecca Timmons (Eddie) of Great Falls, SC and James Taylor (Meaghan) of Forrest City, NC; 12 grandchildren, Will, Madison, Chais, Jaisi, Chans, Brittany, Hannah, Bre’leigh, J.J. , Brian and Hunter; four great-grandchildren, Rhylei, Sailor, Banks and Nayla. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Brittany Jenkins and his fur buddy "Peaches".
