MR CHARLES RICHARD ?DICK? WILSON, Age 82, of Eastman, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in Coliseum Medical Center, Macon. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00AM Saturday, July 24, in Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev Fred Parker officiating, with Interment in Antioch #1 Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr Wilson, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, was son of the late Evelyn Barfield Wilson & Charles Ray Wilson, an Aircraft Design Engineer for 38 Years for Lockheed Martin Marietta, a member of Antioch #1 Baptist Church, Veteran of the Merchant Marines and a 1948 Graduate of Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy. Survivors: Wife- Ymogene Price Wilson of Eastman; Daughter- Jean W Hitt (David) of Lithia Springs; 2 Sons- Dr Michael Wilson (Fran) of Fayetteville and Rick Wilson (Jennie) of Las Vegas, Nevada; Sister- Martha Tedder (Don) of Carrollton; Brother- James A Wilson of Chester, South Carolina; 4 Grandchildren- Brian Hitt, Natalie Hill, Nicole Sopp & Nathan Wilson; 4 Great-Grandchildren- Maddox, Cooper, Hudson & Grant; Several Nieces & Nephews. The Family may be contacted at the Wilson residence, 3352 Antioch Church Road, Eastman and will receive Friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 7:00PM-9:00PM Friday, July 23.In lieu of flowers, the Family request contributions to American Red Cross or the USO.
