CHESTER Mr. Charles Taylor McWaters, Jr.,,72, died Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Chester Regional Nursing Center.The funeral service will be 4:00 PM Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Richard McCarley officiating.The interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 8:00 P.M. Monday at Barron Funeral Home. Born July 13, 1938 in Chester, Mr. McWaters was a son of the late Charlie T. McWaters, Sr. and Effie Crawford McWaters.He attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from the City of Chester and was formerly employed with Springs Industries and Chester Foundry. He is survived by two daughters, Ann Smith and husband Kevin of Mercersburg, PA and Tammy McWaters of Rock Hill; two sons, Charles ?Red? McWaters and Richard D. McWaters both of Chester, SC; one brother, Carl A. McWaters and his wife Vivian of Lowrys, SC; six grandchildren, Kevin Earl, Amber, Summer, Brandi, Ashley, Keith.He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary ?Bunny? Taylor and Alberta Flynn.
