CHESTER, SC: Mr. Charles Melvin Koch, Jr., 49 died Saturday, December 10, 2016.A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Zion Presbyterian Church with Rev. Al Ward officiating.The interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Zion Presbyterian Church. Born March 10, 1967 in Omaha, Nebraska, Mr. Koch was the son of Charles Melvin Koch, Sr. and Patricia Helen Mullen Vinson.He attended the schools of Carlyle High School in Carlyle, Illinois and was a graduate of York Technical College in Rock Hill, SC.He was formerly employed with Speedwell Machine Works in Gastonia, NC and was a member of Zion Presbyterian Church in Lowrys, SC. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife of over seventeen years Terry Miller Koch; two daughters, Alley Dagenhart of Morganton, NC and Hazel Stickel of Bulpitt, IL; four grandchildren, Ryan Stickel, Scott Stickel, Kylie Dagenhart and Koryann Dagenhart; two sisters, Denise DeVatt of Chester, SC and Debra Phillips of Shobonier, IL; his step-mother Nila Kochof Huey, IL; two step-sisters, Christa Hinton of Oak Park, IL and Maria Brown of Morristown, NJ.
