Charles Delmas Jenkins

McConnells Mr. Charles Delmas Jenkins, 78, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PMFriday, March 9,at Barron Funeral Home. Mr. Jenkins was born April 20, 1939 in Strasburg, Virginia and was a son of the late Delmas Jenkins and Mildred Jenkins. He was a graduate of Chester High School and was retired from GAF as a fork lift operator. Mr. Jenkins was a US Army veteran serving during Vietnam and he was a member of Rock Hill VFW. He is survived by two sons, Bryan Jenkins of McConnells and Tim Causey (Carol) of Carlisle; one daughter, Bridgette Goings (Walt) of Chester; two granddaughters, Courtney Causey and Brooke Going both of Chester; three great grandsons, Jayden, Kayleb and Kristyn all of Chester; one great granddaughter, Payton of Chester; and one brother, Ray Jenkins of Baltimore, Maryland.Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his wife of over 20 years, Sandra Jenkins.
