Charles William Henchen

Blackstock, SC: Charles William Henchen, 83, died Friday March 4, 2022 a tMUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Blackstock First Baptist Church with Mr. Jeff Kinard officiating. The family will receive friendsin the fellowship hall of the church following the service. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. Mr. Henchen was born November 7, 1938 in Brockport, New York on November 7, 1938 and was a son of the late Arthur Lewis Henchen and Gertrude Mary Stackman Henchen. He was a graduate of Bergen High School in Bergen ,New York and was retired form Owen Illinois as a machine operator. Charlie was a member of Blackstock First Baptist Church where he was a former deacon. He was well loved and was a hard working family man. In addition to his parents, Charlie is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Barbara Henchen. Mr. Henchen is survived by nine children, Debbie, Andy, Dan, Dawn ,Deana, April, Renny, Randy and Tammy. Eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial may be made to Blackstock First Baptist Church, 907 Durham Rd, Blackstock, SC 29014.
