Charles Abel "Charlie" Carroll

Mr. Charles Abel Carroll, Jr., “Charlie” 67, died Sunday, January 17, 2021 at MUSC – Chester. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Mr. Carroll was born January 25, 1953 in York, SC and was a son of the late Charles A. Carroll, Sr. and Hazel Boyd Carroll. He was a graduate of York High School and York Tech. Mr. Carroll was retired from Honda of Rock Hill, SC as a master mechanic. He was a member of Rock Hill Masonic Lodge and enjoyed drag racing as one of his favorite pastimes. He is survived by his wife of over ten years, Tamela Elliott “Tammy” Carroll; one son Adam Carroll (Amy) of Charleston, SC; two step-children, Ann Kirby of Blackstock, SC and Richard Stophel of Virginia; two grandchildren, Brooke Carroll and Andrew Carroll both of Charleston, SC; one brother, Steve Carroll (Cindy) of York, SC; one niece, Hope Carroll of York, SC.
