RICHBURG, SC Mr. Charles Paul Braese, 78, of 553 Kees Drive, Richburg died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Hospice and Community Care in Rock Hill, SC. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 29, 2008 at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church with Father William Pentis officiating.Interment will be private. Born August 25, 1930 in Ludlow, Massachusetts, Mr. Braese was the son of the late Thomas Charles and Evelyn McCarthy Braese.He was a graduate ofHasbrouck Heights High School in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey and retired from the City of Rock Hill as Street Superintendent.He was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Korean War and a member of St. Joseph?s Catholic Church.He was the widower of Bettie Braese. Surviving are one son, Paul E. Braese of Weaverville, NC; three daughters, Karen B. Kee of Richburg, SC, Cheryl B. Kitchen of Indian Land, SC and Lisa B. Faris of Richburg, SC; six grandchildren, Ricky Kovacs, Chris Kee, Petty Officer 3rd Class Matthew Kitchen USCG, Hunter Kitchen, Amanda Faris and Joshua Faris.
